Tolerable Sound, Poor Construction2010-06-292 / 5
I've had better earbuds, but I've had much worse. If you listen to a lot of bass heavy music, I'd imagine you'd enjoy them a bit more than I did. I've chewed up a few pairs of earbuds a lot quicker than these, but I was still very disappointed with the (lack of) longevity. Overall, I'd say there are likely better options in this price range.

Pros:
Fabric cord is very nice, doesn't tangle. Did not transmit as much noise as creative buds.
Hard shell case is very useful.
More comfortable than standard ipod headphones.
Sealed ear canal well, decent isolation.

Cons:
Cheap build quality. After 4 months of daily use, the housing around the earbud cracked, and the driver separated from the housing.

The sound is a bit muddy. I had to put my ipod on the bass reduction setting to get any sort of clarity, even when playing lossless formats. While the sound was better than other earbuds I have owned, the bass seemed a bit overdone and drowned out most of the higher range frequencies.

If you plan on having your ipod in your pocket while moving, beware of static electricity. The cord, being fabric, can generate static. This caused my ipod to freeze and reset a few times. (You also get a shock in your ear from time to time, which isn't entirely comfortable.)

these headphones cost about the same as the apple ones do and the apple ones can't compare to these ^_^...They are really comfortable and they have 3 different sizes to fit your ear. They dont fall off, so you dont really have to readjust them when you put them on and the quality is very good. Since they sit right in your ear the way that they do tho, you can hear music at a decent volume with crisp sound without having to pump the volume very very loud. And when you have them on, even if the music is off, you can't really hear anything either. They're like ear plugs ^_^...So if your music is on, you def won't be hearing any commotion at all from the outside world. =). This is a good buy. Enjoy.
Excellent/Great sound when you're not moving...2010-04-053 / 5
The phones are perfect. Crisp soundspace. Tonals perfect.
Unfortunately, as soon as you move and/or touch the cord, your "touch" is transferred up the cord into your ear.

So, if you're sitting on your couch/chair, or lying in bed, they're fine, perfect even.

But if you use them for exercise, walking/running/other, be prepared to hear the sound of them brushing anything, as well as the sound of your feet as the cord bumps up and down.

I'll keep them, but hopefully instead I can exchange them for the next step up withOUT the fabric.

Worse than iPod earbuds2010-02-151 / 5
I've been trying to find some new earbuds to replace my original iPod earbuds that I've had for years because those are finally starting to lose quality.

Well, these were not the earbuds I was looking for. The sound that travels up the cord into your ears from the slightest touch is incredibly annoying. I liked the idea of the fabric cord until I experienced this effect.

They seemed to fit ok, but never seemed to have balanced sound no matter what I did. VERY tinny sound with no bass at all.

Do not recommend at all.
Converted me to buds2010-01-314 / 5
I didn't believe I'd get good sound quality from ear buds, but these things convinced me I had missed the boat. I was amazed at how much of the base spectrum I could hear. The noise-cancelling and comfort aspects are also something I had not thought about. I listen to "lo-fi" music in bed to help me relax (let me plug the free 90-minute Ultima Thule podcasts out of Australia); and I actually sleep better long after the music has stopped because I am not awakened by bumps in the night. I don't know if any of those $300+ sets of ear buds are significantly better or more comfortable, but these sound and feel just fine to me.
