Great Product. The sound is very good, and does what you want from a center channel speaker. Strong, Clear voices for movies and such (ps3).
I got it hooked up to a sony STR-DN1000 receiver,as part of a 5.1 surround sound home theater setup for a 55" samsung.
I'm not a audio head so I cant say much more then it sounded great to me and it wasnt expensive. I'm just not gonna pay $300 for 1 speaker. Likely you wont either if you're still reading review for this. So you should probibly just buy it now.
It's pretty much as good as you can possibly get for the price, I honestly can't say it any other way.
Not really a complaint, but keep in mind this is allot taller then a speaker bar so you wanna think about where its gonna go. Any wall mounted tv should be fine, but if you're using a stand you might wanna prop the tv up as this in front will likely block a bottom portion of the screen,and since the center channel should be at ear level when watching movies and such (ie. not on the floor,) you'll need it somewhere around that level.

| I had an old center channel from a pre-packaged Sony surround system and replaced it with this. Really clear sound and I noticed a marked improvement in being able to hear conversations in movies with background music. My wife used to ask me to turn up the volume all the time but not anymore. I especially like the plain, clean look. Will go well with just about any room or decor. The sound didn't blow me away, but for the small price I paid for this thing, it's a great choice for those who care about audio quality but not enough to drop $300 on a center channel. |
