| A handy little device at a modest price. Only complaint is that setting and using the presets is difficult and non-intuitive. |

I purchased this radio to listen to AM radio (most new radio/mp3 players only receive FM signals). I have had the same batteries in it for over a month and I use it almost daily, so battery life is fine with mine. Outside, the radio performs great getting good reception wherever I am, however, inside buildings the signal drops and gets a bit of static. Since I use this for walking it is not an issue for me. The range of the volume is pretty strange. Volume at 1 is silent, volume at 2 is good, volume at 3 is way loud. Anything above 3 is far too loud to me.
Good:
Reception outdoors
Battery Life
Ease of use
Not so Good:
Indoor Reception
Volume control
For the price, I am very happy and it works as advertised. If I needed something for indoor sitting at a desk, I would probably be disappointed. Since I don't listen to FM, I can't really comment on it for that. |

| Fantastic Buy. The only fault is that if you take the batteries off, then it looses all the saved channels. But I can configure them again in 2 mins anyway. |

This product arrived to my house on Saturday. I took it to work with me on Monday and it worked fine for about an half an hour before the sound just started to fade away into nothingness, no matter how high I turned up the volume. I switched out the batteries, and this DID make the sound louder, but to no good effect because I could no longer get a signal. Every channel on AM and FM came in as static. Then the screen, which was never very clear, faded out terribly as well. Now I can only see any of the display at a certain angle, and some parts of it do not show up at all.
I called the customer service for the seller and they were very rude, but agreed to let me turn it in for a refund. When I asked how long it would take for the refund to go through, they hung up on me. When I called back immediately, a message came on that said "all circuits are busy".
I find this behavior borderline fraudulent and will never buy from this seller (or perhaps not even ) again. |

An exceptional value. Easy to tune & lock on to stations & volume.
My wife & I use it in our church to better hear sermons & goings on.(Church P A system broadcasts on 96.3) |
