Let me start out by saying, if your mp3 player isn't an I-pod, your accessory options are VERY LIMITED! Needless to say I figured that out very quickly after I began shopping around, as many of you have probably found out as well. That being said, this silicone case isn't the greatest case that has ever been produced. But depending on what you'll use it for, it is a very good available option.
I personally purchased it for the arm band to use while working out. The silicone case fits nice and snug and looks sharp. All buttons and connections line up well and are accessible. The arm band itself is very secure. The belt clip seems to function well, although it's not very "heavy duty". There's a question mark as to how much abuse it would be able to take?
I purchased a leather case that has a built in belt clip that is much sturdier, but didn't want it to get all funky from me sweating on it. Another reason I don't use the belt clip option on the silicone case, it doesn't have any protection for the touch screen. I can imagine smackin' my watch or something bumping into it and damaging the screen. The leather one has a fold down flap that snaps into place and is much more secure in that regard.
It depends on your needs, but I highly recommend this case. Again, I wish there were more accessory options for the P2, but all in all this is a good choice for the money. |

| After having used this item for a couple of weeks, I'm ready to report. It's OK, but not great. I use the belt clip exclusively, and the snap connection is not very reliable and secure. I have experienced my P2 falling to the pavement a half dozen times already. Not good. The silisone skin looks great and feels great, but the belt clip is not satisfactory. I have not tried the arm band, but the snap connection to the belt clip is not secure. |
