I ordered it for my daughter's 12th birthday party, because she really wanted dancing. It was a last minute order, because I had been planning to rent one until I saw what the rental rates were.
It worked out of the box perfectly, once. A little weaker than I had hoped, but that was not wholly unexpected, since the script suggested multiple lights.
I did, however, expect it to work more than 5 minutes. That's how long we had it going on the test run the day before the party. The next day at the party, the steady strobe failed completely. We could only get it to work with the sound activated function, and that only worked with the speakers literally pressed against the sides of the light. That meant that it couldn't be suspended, we had to sit it on the table, so it was in everybody's eyes.
I'm pretty disappointed. |

| We bought this strobe light for a drama at our church. It worked perfectly right out of the box and really added a lot to the play. We plan to buy more strobes in the future and this one will be at the top of the list. |

This is the mother of all bright strobes. We bought it for Halloween, and I was taken aback by both its large size and its brightness. It's bigger than it looks in the picture. It's too bright to be used at close range without overwhelming people. So we used it in the backyard, where we have a tree with a knobby trunk, and this strobe basically lit up the entire tree. From 50 feet away, it was perfect--bright enough to be a centerpiece in that area.
Great price for the power it has. |

| This is a professional DJ quality strobe. I just bought it to mess around in my room and it is so bright. talk about power! it flashes very fast and although the sound activation doesnt work well, you don't really need it. |

| I searched all over for a 70+ watt strobe, even craigslist, couldn't find anything decent for under $70. This thing works great, very bright, easy controls, well packaged. My only gripes are the unit size (freakin huge) and the sound activation is very impact/bass sensitive. My scream track blasting from a speaker very close couldn't consistently trigger it, so i bought a $10 remote control outlet, which worked fine. Nothing else has sound activation for under $100 , so at this price, I really can't complain too much. Also, I ordered two of these, and one came with a broken bulb. But 's return process was easy, and I had a refund within 4 days of mailing it. |
